Summary: |
This lesson relates to how new developments led to the growth of the United States (Benchmark C) by specifically looking at the importance of inventors such as the Wright Brothers (Indicator 6)and how entrepreneurs organize productive resources to produce goods and services and that they seek to make profits by taking risks (Indicator 3 under Benchmark B). Using the Study Skills and Methods standard, the students obtain information from a variety of primary and secondary sources to answer questions about Ohio history.
